Why machgrad exists

An assistant that really helps knows your life: your appointments, your plans, who you meet. Most AI assistants send exactly that to data centres in the United States. We think it can be done differently.

So with machgrad, the conversations, the memory and the AI models themselves run in Swiss data centres. What still has to leave Switzerland, we say openly, such as delivery through WhatsApp or a web search without your name.

The name

"Mach grad" is Swiss German for roughly "do it right away". That is what the assistant is for: you say what's coming up, it takes care of it.

What we stand by

Your data is stored encrypted in Switzerland. We don't sell it, show you ads or train models with it.

The assistant never books, buys or sends anything without your explicit Yes first.

We only promise what is true today. What doesn't work yet is marked as such.

Who is behind it

machgrad is a product of GlobalWerk GmbH in Baar (canton of Zug). Founded and built by Brian Christner, who lives in Baar, has built software and cloud infrastructure for many years and advises companies on AI with The Byte. He is a Docker Captain and Traefik Ambassador.
