Terms of use for the machgrad beta

Last updated 7 October 2026. These terms apply between you and GlobalWerk GmbH, Burgmatt 11, 6340 Baar, Switzerland, for your use of machgrad.

1. What machgrad is

machgrad is a personal AI assistant you chat with on WhatsApp. It looks up information, finds places, sets reminders, reads websites and carries out tasks for you when you confirm them. By sending your first message to the assistant or joining the waitlist, you accept these terms.

2. Beta

machgrad is in beta and free of charge. Features may change, fail or be removed. We do not guarantee any particular availability. We may end the beta or limit new participants; where possible we tell you on WhatsApp first. Paid plans only apply if you explicitly agree to them.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old and have your own WhatsApp account. Your account is tied to your WhatsApp number: whoever controls that number can use the assistant and sign in to the settings. Protect your phone accordingly and tell us if your number falls into someone else's hands.

4. AI can be wrong

Replies are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check important details such as opening hours, prices, appointments or timetables before relying on them. machgrad is no substitute for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice and is not meant for emergencies. In an emergency in Switzerland call 112, 144, 117 or 118.

5. Actions on your behalf

The assistant books, buys, sends, signs in or submits forms only after you confirm with Yes. You are responsible for actions you confirm. Contracts that result (for example a reservation) are between you and the respective provider; we are not responsible for their service.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use machgrad for unlawful purposes, to harass or deceive others, to infringe others' rights, to attack or probe our systems, or for automated bulk requests. If you do, we may block your access.

7. Your content

What you write and what the assistant creates for you belongs to you. You allow us to process this content as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice. We do not train AI models with it.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for slight negligence, for damage caused by AI errors, for outages, or for services of third parties such as WhatsApp, websites or providers you book through the assistant. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

9. Ending

You can stop using machgrad at any time and delete your account at app.machgrad.ch. We may block or delete your account if you breach these terms, or when we end the beta.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. We tell you about material changes on WhatsApp beforehand. If you keep using machgrad afterwards, the new terms apply.

11. Law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zug, unless a mandatory place of jurisdiction applies, such as consumers' place of residence.
